That’s not our normal pace. Most projects run six to eight weeks. But if you’re on a deadline, call us first.

At Sound Designs New York, we build custom commercial furniture for businesses, offices, restaurants, and organizations across Long Island and Greater New York. Every piece is made to order. Your dimensions, your materials, your finish.

What We’ve Built

​

A boat-shaped conference table in white oak with custom hexagonal bases. A 30-foot mahogany conference table with wire chases and power hubs for the US Army at Fort Knox. A custom folding station for bedsheets? Yep, apparently that’s a thing. We only know because we built one.

​

Our on-site finisher has been serving New York City and Long Island for years. Any color, any stain, any finish. Bring us a color sample and we’ll match it. If the first sample isn’t right, we keep going until it’s perfect, or so close we can taste it. (Not literally. The finishes aren’t edible, even the natural ones. Don’t ask how we know.)

It starts with a conversation. We provide detailed sketches and samples before we build. You’re welcome to come to the shop in Glen Cove and see the materials in person. We keep you updated throughout the build, deliver, and install.
