Amagansett Dining Table

2026

There's something so relaxing about the Hamptons in the fall. The summer rush has faded into something still busy, but much easier. Cool breezes, pumpkins heaped on carts, and of course cider donuts.

So we were already feeling it when we rolled up the long driveway to deliver what we're now calling the Amagansett Dining Table.

The house is clad in clear cedar and surrounded by newly planted ginkgo trees, which were close to their peak yellow when we visited. All very soothing. It's clearly the home of someone who loves trees and wood.

The table has sturdy black walnut legs, custom steel supports (also made here on Long Island, shout-out to the Leg Shoppe), and a truly extraordinary single walnut slab top. It flares from about 39" wide at one end to nearly 50" at the other, which gives it real presence.
