Goldens Bridge Kitchen Table

Black walnut with chrome legs.

The client was referred to us by a decorator Joel had worked with years before. She wanted a dark black walnut kitchen table, roughly seven feet long, with a consistent, dark chocolate color. No sapwood, no streaks of color.

This matched the aesthetic in her home well.

The walnut was locally sourced, and we milled it into boards. The top has a spray finish and a dark stain that gives it that even, dark chocolate tone.

She also had a vision for a unique pair of legs in polished chrome. The legs were fabricated by a shop in Westchester and sent off to yet another shop to be chrome plated. So polished, in fact, that I could see my reflection in them while I was filming the table.

The design was simple, but the stain and the chrome legs really make it something special.
